Camp Manager

We are looking for an effective leader to build, inspire and direct the team to meet these demands as well as ensure all customers have an enjoyable, quality experience.

You will need to be ready to support the holiday park’s growth with sound forward planning, effective business strategies, as well as maintaining and improving day to day operations. You will also be expected to ensure the best cost effective services and apply best industry practices.

You will utilise your sound relationship skills to liaise, interact and communicate with key stakeholders particularly with the camp’s board, local iwi, businesses, and the Raglan community. You need to be a team player, working with other managers in the Service Delivery Group to drive a strong team and customer focused culture as well as role modelling zero harm behaviour for the team. A key critical element to the role will be building robust systems and practices aimed at continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have more than five years demonstrable experience in a similar role, and may hold a relevant qualification in tourism or hospitality management. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with sound understanding of relevant legislation and regulations. A proven background of managing people and delivering substantial budgets effectively is expected.

The role offers plenty of variety, is well resourced, and would suit someone who is looking to work within a highly engaged workforce.
